'Treme' actor Michael Showers Found DEAD!

Actor Michael Showers, perhaps best known for his work as Captain John Guidry on the HBO series "Treme," was found dead in the Mississippi River early Wednesday morning. Some originally thought the body, found off New Orleans' French Quarter on Wednesday morning, was that of a man who had reportedly jumped off a bridge the day before.

Although an autopsy will be performed to figure out the cause of the mysterious death, according to E!
